Produce RX Program
Help Fight Food Insecurity — Support La Red’s Community Produce RX Program
At La Red Health Center, we believe good nutrition is the foundation of good health. But for many of our patients, access to fresh, healthy food isn’t guaranteed. That’s why we’ve created Community Refrigerators & Freezers at our Milford, Georgetown, and Seaford offices — ensuring that nutritious food is available to those who need it most.
Thanks to the generous support of the Delaware Department of Agriculture and the Delaware Division of Public Health, we were able to launch this vital program.
Through donors and grants, we’ve partnered with local farms to provide fresh produce through community-supported agriculture (CSA) shares. We offer produce bags filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, when available, to patients at high risk for obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses.
We need your help to keep this program running!
Your donation ensures that our food-insecure patients have access to healthy meals that support their overall well-being.
